  • DWhere is Blue Horizon Studios Roatan located?

    We are located in West End, Roatan, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, dive shops, and local attractions. Once you arrive to West End village, follow the paved road heading the west, passing Lost Paradise Inn and Brisas Del Mar. Once you get to the no paved road, drive for 200 yards behind Tita’s Pink Sea Horse Beach Bar & Grill.

    What type of accommodations do you offer?

    We offer 5 comfortable studios and 1 two bedroom unit, each equipped with modern amenities, including:

    Yes! We provide airport pickup and drop-off services at an additional cost. Please arrange transportation with us at least 48 hours in advance.

    Yes! We welcome families and offer child-friendly accommodations. However, please note that we do not have specific child facilities like play areas or babysitting services.

    What is the deposit policy?

    A non-refundable deposit of $100 for any studio and $150 for the 2 bedroom is required to guarantee your booking. This amount covers one night’s stay and will be applied toward your total balance.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept:

    ✔️ PayPal
    ✔️ Bank transfers
    ✔️ Cash (in USD or Lempira)

    Can I modify my booking after confirmation?

    Yes, you can modify your booking up to 7 days before arrival, subject to availability.

    Cancellation & Refunds

    What is your cancellation policy?

    • Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a future stay within 6 months, subject to availability.

    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will be charged for the first night’s stay.

    • No-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

    Do you recommend travel insurance?

    Yes! We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, flight delays, or unexpected changes in your travel plans.

    Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

    Yes! We provide complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi in all studios and common areas.

    Are the studios air-conditioned?

    Yes! All accommodations come with air conditioning for your comfort.

    Is there a pool on the property?

    No, we do not have a pool, but the beach is just steps away (exactly 80 steps from the Caribbean Sea)! There is a beautiful pool at Brisas Del Mar, just a few properties down. The have a day pass, please ask them directly regarding pricing.

    Do you provide daily housekeeping?

    Yes! We offer complimentary housekeeping services every 2 days. Daily cleaning is available upon request for an additional fee.

    Is there a restaurant or bar on-site?

    Yes! There’s Tita’s Pink Sea Horse Bar & Grill on-site. There are also many excellent dining options within walking distance in West End, some are which are recommended in our Blog.

    Do you offer laundry services?

    Yes! Laundry service is available for an additional fee of $10.

Stay and Play Dive Package

A dive shop right on property

  • DSince Banana Nut Burgers Dive Shop is on the same property, why not offer a stay and dive option for our guests. The owner and staff of this dive shop are amazing and give their customers a personal touch that would make even the newest diver feel comfortable.

    Blue Horizon Studios will give a 10% discount on the stay rate (cannot be combined with any other offers that may be going on). Banana Nut Burgers will discount individual dives to $50 and a 10 dive package to $450.escription text goes here

Cancelation Policy

At Blue Horizon Studios Roatan, we understand that travel plans may change.

  • To ensure transparency and fairness for all our guests, please review our cancellation and refund policy before booking.

    Deposit & Payment Policy

    • A non-refundable deposit of $100 for the studios and $150 for the 2BR is required to guarantee your reservation.

    • The deposit secures one night’s stay and is applied to the total cost of your booking.

    • The remaining balance is due upon check-in unless otherwise arranged.

    Cancellation Policy

    • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to flight cancellations, weather conditions, personal emergencies, or unforeseen events.

    • If you need to reschedule your stay, you may apply your deposit toward a future booking within 6 months, subject to availability. One reschedule is allowed per booking.

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows will result in the full first night’s charge being non-refundable, with no rescheduling option.

    Early Departures & Modifications

    • If you choose to leave earlier than your original departure date after check-in, no refunds will be issued.

    • Changes to check-in or check-out dates are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days in advance.

    Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances

    • In the rare case that Blue Horizon Studios Roatan must cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, property maintenance issues), we will offer:

      • A full refund of your deposit OR

      • The option to reschedule your stay at no additional cost.

    Travel Insurance Recommendation

    We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected situations, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or flight disruptions.
